C11 Program

Canada’s International Mobility Program (IMP) has an LMIA exemption with code C11 that enables entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals to apply for a work permit without requiring an LMIA.

The C11 work permit is for two kinds of entrepreneurs. The first are the ones who want temporary entry into Canada based on their plans and career. The second one is those looking for a work permit with the context of self-employed or entrepreneurial permanent residence in Canada.

To be able to apply for the same, proof of your entrepreneurship, and a viable business plan with sufficient resources is essential. Additionally, you will also need to prove that your business will bring social and cultural benefits to Canadian citizens.
