    This is a five-year federal immigration pilot which is established to help smaller communities that face aging population and labor shortage issues. These smaller communities also struggle in attracting new immigrants.

    Who can apply for RNIP?

    People willing to apply for the RNIP must meet the following requirements

    Requirements

    • Applicants must have a minimum level, of work experience, a minimum of 12 months of work experience
    • Applicants must meet a minimum level of education in any institution of one of the listed communities, a minimum of 2 years post full-time post-secondary education, or a master's degree
    • Must have an offer of employment, based in the selected communities
    • Complete the language requirements
