UCIC offers an exclusivea pathway into University of Canterbury undergraduate programmes. UCIC offers University Transfer Programmes (UTPs) which are unique in New Zealand. UTPs are the equivalent to the University of Canterbury’s first year of the bachelor degree. After successful completion students then pathway to the second year of their degree.
UCIC also offers students a pre-university Foundations Studies Certificate and a new Study Abroad option. All of these are delivered in a supportive, nurturing environment right on the University of Canterbury’s beautiful campus.
Completion of Higher Secondary School Certificate (Year 11) with a grade average of 50% in academic subjects
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Overall 5.5. – all band scores minimum of 5.0
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) IBT – Score of 46 with a minimum writing score of 14
